    Laughlin Air Force Base is a facility located on the border of Mexico, near Del Rio, Texas, and is the largest pilot training base in the United States Air Force. Laughlin is home to the 47th Flying Training wing, under command of the Air Education and Training Command. Laughlin still serves as the premiere training facility for pilots, and graduates over 25 pilots per year from training on such as aircraft as the T-6A, Texan II, the T-38 C and the T-1A Jayhawk.
