The nearest major airport is the Del Rio International Airport.

There is bus service from downtown San Antonio to the Del Rio Bus Terminal. Travel arrangements can be made with an individual's sponsor.

If arriving by car, take Highway 90 West to 154 miles. Follow the signs to Laughlin Air Force Base. If military personnel are in need of temporary lodging, contact the Laughlin Air Force Base's Lodging Office to make advance reservations in Building 454. The reservation's desk is open 24 hours a day. for additional information contact 830-298-5732 (officer) or 830-298-5733 (enlisted) and for current waiting periods.

Advance Housing Applications

Military personnel with dependents are authorized to submit an advance application for housing any time after they receive PCS or active duty orders for Laughlin AFB. Submit DD Form 1746, Application for Assignment to Housing, through your local housing office or FAX to 830-298-5831 or DSN: 312-732-5831.
